Many factors influence whether education is successful. Psychological factors include motivation, intelligence, and personality. Social factors, like socioeconomic status, ethnicity, and gender, are often linked to discrimination. Further factors include access to educational technology, teacher quality, and parent involvement.
Combined type. The student may exhibit symptoms that include behaviors from both categories above. In order for a student to be diagnosed with ADHD, symptoms must appear before age 12 and be exhibited across at least two settings. They must also have adverse effects on academic performance, occupational success, or social-emotional development (APA, 2013).
The psychological environment deals with the perception and experiences related to any environmental setting. Some environments may be stimulating and exciting for us, while others may be dull and boring. The psychological environment is more often used in the organizational context.
