Acute stress. This involves a temporary source of stress. Maybe you’re worried about an upcoming exam, or perhaps you’re stressed about your disorganized family travel plans. Once the event passes, you feel yourself relax. Episodic acute stress. This is when acute stress is a recurring issue for you.
