A Retrospective on A Teenager’s Experience Being Diagnosed and Treated for ADHD
As a result of the behaviors listed above, students with ADHD are at greater risk of academicdifficulties, social/emotional issues, and limited educational outcomes.
The degree to which attention impacts a student’s academic and social performance is related to the interactions between the student’s academic and behavioral needs and the environmentaldemands.
Therefore, it is not unusual for the student to perform differently across settings.
For example, a student with ADHD may experience academic success in elementary school;however, when he enters middle school, the increased academic and organizational demandsmay increase his need for additional academic and behavioral supports.

Students with ADHD
They are more likely to respond positively when teachers establish class routines and set procedures and maintain a well-organized learning environment.
Clear rules and advanced planning are keys to success for teachers of students with ADHD.
The following organizational supports are particularly useful. Students should be taught to use these tools through teacher modeling and guided practice with feedback before being expected to use them more independently.

TVET and skills
Historically, almost all vocational education took place in the classroom or on the job site, with students learning trade skills and trade theory from accredited instructors or established professionals. However, in recent years, online vocational education has grown in popularity, making learning various trade skills and soft skills from established professionals easier than ever for students, even those who may live far away from a traditional vocational school

Children's mental development as it relates to educational context.
The concept of the ZPD is widely used to study children's mental development as it relates to educational context. The ZPD concept is seen as a scaffolding, a structure of "support points" for performing an action.[14] This refers to the help or guidance received from an adult or more competent peer to permit the child to work within the ZPD.[15] Although Vygotsky himself never mentioned the term, scaffolding was first developed by Jerome Bruner, David Wood, and Gail Ross, while applying Vygotsky's concept of ZPD to various educational contexts.[4] According to Wass and Golding, giving students the hardest tasks they can do with scaffolding leads to the greatest learning gainsScaffolding is a process through which a teacher or a more competent peer helps a student in their ZPD as necessary and tapers off this aid as it becomes unnecessary—much as workers remove a scaffold from a building after they complete construction. "Scaffolding [is] the way the adult guides the child's learning via focused questions and positive interactions."[17] This concept has been further developed by Mercedes Chaves Jaime, Ann Brown, among others. Several instructional programs were developed based on this interpretation of the ZPD, including reciprocal teaching and dynamic assessment. For scaffolding to be effective, one must start at the child's level of knowledge and build from there

Blended Learning Models
Types of Blended Learning Models
Here are the five most common types of blended learning frameworks:
1. Flipped model
In the flipped model, traditional classroom instruction is inverted. Learners first encounter the instructional content outside of class, typically through video lectures, readings, or online modules. Then, in-class time is dedicated to active learning activities, discussions, group projects, and exercises that reinforce and apply the pre-learned material.
The flipped model allows for more personalized and interactive learning during face-to-face

Equality of Educational Opportunity
It is widely accepted that educational opportunities for children ought to be equal. This thesis follows from two observations about education and children: first, that education significantly influences a person’s life chances in terms of labor market success, preparation for democratic citizenship, and general human flourishing; and second, that children’s life chances should not be fixed by certain morally arbitrary circumstances of their birth such as their social class, race, and gender. But the precise meaning of, and implications for, the ideal of equality of educational opportunity is the subject of substantial disagreement (see Jencks 1988). This entry provides a critical review of the nature and basis of those disagreements.

philosophy and theology
Essence (Latin: essentia) is a polysemic term, having various meanings and uses. It is used in philosophy and theology as a designation for the property or set of properties or attributes that make an entity or substance what it fundamentally is, and which it has by necessity, and without which it loses its identity. Essence is contrasted with accident: a property or attribute the entity or substance has contingently, without which the substance can still retain its identity.
