Impacts all aspects of our daily lives
As technology continues to evolve and impacts all aspects of our daily lives, learning and education of these new technologies cannot be overlooked. It’s important to remember that “evolving” refers to moving ahead to the next level without decimating the old, i.e., taking advantage of both worlds – the positives of the old with the advantages of the new. In the case of education, this is known as blended learning.
The concept of blended learning has gained great popularity over the last few years, with its advantages being lauded by learning professionals. Blended learning combines the benefits of traditional classroom teaching with emerging technology to make learning more real-time, contextual, and engaging.
Let’s delve deeper into what blended learning is, and highlight different models and benefits it offers.

Learning theories and teaching methods
Learning theories attempt to elucidate the mechanisms underlying learning. Influential theories include behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism. Behaviorism posits that learning entails a modification in behavior in response to environmental stimuli. This occurs through the presentation of a stimulus, the association of this stimulus with the desired response, and the reinforcement of this stimulus-response connection. Cognitivism views learning as a transformation in cognitive structures and emphasizes the mental processes involved in encoding, retrieving, and processing information. Constructivism asserts that learning is grounded in the individual's personal experiences and places greater emphasis on social interactions and their interpretation by the learner. These theories carry significant implications for instructional practices. For instance, behaviorists often emphasize repetitive drills, cognitivists may advocate for mnemonic techniques, and constructivists typically employ collaborative learning strategies.[

Education sciences
Education sciences,[1] also known as education studies, education theory, and traditionally called pedagogy,[2] seek to describe, understand, and prescribe education policy and practice. Education sciences include many topics, such as pedagogy, andragogy, curriculum, learning, and education policy, organization and leadership. Educational thought is informed by many disciplines, such as history, philosophy, sociology, and psychology.
Faculties, departments, degree programs, and degrees on education sciences are often called simply faculty of education etc.[3] It is likewise still common to say she is studying education, which is only very rarely expressed as studying education science(s) and was traditionally called studying pedagogy (in English) in most European countries. Similarly, educational theorists may be known as pedagogues depending on the country.
For example, a cultural theory of education considers how education occurs through the totality of culture, including prisons, households, and religious institutions as well as schools.[4][5] Other examples are the behaviorist theory of education that comes from educational psychology and the functionalist theory of education that comes from sociology of education.[6]

Impact of education
In everything that we do, we seek to generate a positive impact in the lives of children and women in rural communities. It is therefore critically important we measure the results and effects that we have on our beneficiaries. We keep improving our monitoring and evaluation processes every year.
In every Learning Squared program, we seek to understand the level of change and impact that we have created, enabling us to allocate resources to programs with the highest impact and define how to improve that impact on a long and short-term basis. We look at quality-of-life metrics such as poverty and school attainment and access to quality and affordable education.

Ionization
Matter is made up of molecules which consists of atoms. According to Bohr’s theory, “the atom consists of positively charged nucleus and a number of negatively charged electrons which revolve round the nucleus in various orbits”. When an electron is raised from a lower state to a higher state, it is said to be excited. While exciting, if the electron is completely removed from the nucleus, the atom is said to be ionized. So, the process of raising the atom from normal state to this ionized state is called as ionization.

How to Build a Research Consortium
Most principal investigators spend many hours laboring over proposals to fund their research programs – and for good reason. While competing for funding is the big business for researchers, some have opted to fund their programs in other ways, like building a research consortium.
